The lake rules
Simple rules, written for the fish and for everyone’s peace. Here they are in eight points — you will accept them when you book.

Minimum session
No day tickets. Up to a full week on the same peg.

Rods per peg
Three rods on a single peg. Double peg: four rods alone, six as a pair.

No fish leaves the lake. Mat and weigh sling compulsory.

Paid on booking, balance settled on arrival.
Booking and arrival
Set up between 12:00 and 18:00; departure by 11:00 on the last day. The 50% deposit paid online is non-refundable except for a documented medical reason — handled by email, never through the site. The balance is settled on arrival, at the shop, by card or cash.
The peg
One angler per single peg, three rods maximum. A double peg takes one angler with four rods, or two anglers with six rods. Each peg is booked whole: your neighbour will never be closer than fifty metres. Barbless hooks only.
Catch and release
Every fish goes back. Unhooking mat, weigh sling and antiseptic are compulsory. Retention slings are banned — a photo, a weight, and the fish swims off.
Baiting
Spomb, throwing stick and bait boat allowed. Bait sensibly: the lake is rich, there is no need to pile it in. Boats are banned, including for dropping rigs.
The bivvy
Bivvies go on the pitch provided at each peg. No open fires — stoves are fine. Your rubbish leaves with you; bags are available at the shop.
Vehicles
Drive to your peg to unload, then the car goes back to the car park. Walking pace on the estate tracks, headlights off at night.
The shop
The balance of your session is settled at the shop on arrival, by bank card or cash. You will find bait, end tackle and hire gear: barrow, sling, mat, landing net.
Safety and the environment
No swimming. Children remain under adult supervision. Close the gates behind you — codes change weekly. The estate is a natural space: leave it as you found it.
